The following are the requirements for eighth graders to pass.

20% 1. Independent research project (Due March 5, 2009) As assigned
15% 2. 10 total current events, Due on TUESDAYS. As asigned
10% 3. 12 log book pages to be done in class
20% 4. 1 midterm quiz. (On March 11th 2009)
20% 5. 1 final exam (On May 20th 2009)
15% 6. 75% attendance & class participation (Democracy in action!!)
